Where can I find user guides?

What is VoiP?

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is simply the transmission of voice traffic over IP-based networks. The Internet Protocol (IP) was originally designed for data networking. The success of IP in becoming a world standard for data networking has led to its adaption to voice networking.


Which phone is right for my small business?

Choosing a phone is easy. Simply contact Hughes and speak to one of our sales reps. They'll ask you a series of questions and will be able to fit a particular phone to your needs. Alternatively, fill out the CONTACT US form and someone from Hughes will be in touch to discuss your options.


How do I turn off my message light?

From the phone, press the bottom DN and dial #409.


Why is my DKT 2000 series phone dropping calls?

A design flaw in the hookswitch mechanism can cause calls to be disconnected. The speakerphone module can also be affected. This typically occurs after about seven years of use. A Hughes engineer can come onsite to repair or you can ship the phone to us and we will repair your phone and ship it back to you.
